Houston News Today's Tips 

Public Safety- Coordinates distribution of crime statistics from Clear Lake Crime Watch. Assists in sponsoring block parties for National Night Out each August. Coordinates data for security patrols on where problems exist. Sponsor Annual Public Safety Day for the community.

Parks & Grounds - Coordinates new plantings and seasonal color in landscaped beds throughout the community.

Civic Club - This independant committee coordinates community sponsors events including Easter Egg Hunt, Pool Splash Days, Haunted Woods, and Movie Nights at the pool.

Pool

The regular summer pool hours for this community are 10am - 9pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. and 10am - 8pm Sundays and Wednesdays. The pool is avaliable for all homeowners who have paid all their assessments fees.

While school is in session in May, August and September, pool is open most weekday afternoons and on weekends. Pool is always closed on Monday for cleaning. If pool is open for a holiday on Monday, it will be closed for cleaning on Tuesday.


Pool Rentals-
This service is provided through Texas Aquatic Guards. The Pavilion rental is also through Texas Aquatic Guards, please call 713-589-0310 for rental information. Pool rental for parties is not available on Mondays when the pool is closed for cleaning. For larger parties, times may need to be scheduled outside of regular pool hours and security or extra lifeguards may be required.

Pool Tags
Pool tags are available at the pool on two scheduled Saturdays in late April & early May. Pool tags are available at C.I.A. Services at all other times by mailing or faxing in registration forms. Tags are free to all homeowners who are members in good standing. Two guests are allowed to acompany residents per tag.

Recreational Facilities
Pine Brook has one main park at Park Center Way and Clear Lake City Boulevard, and numerous pocket parks throughout the community. The main park has a pool, pavilion, four tennis courts, hardcourt, playground, and wetlands with observation deck. There is a second wetlands area located across CLC Boulevard from the main park.

Schools
This community is located in the Clear Creek Independent School District. High school students attend Clear Lake H.S. The children in grades 6th through 8th attend Space Center Intermediate. K through 5th all attend Brookwood Elementary.

Tennis Court Keys
One key is issued per homeowner for $8.00 each. Tennis lessons are available with Steven Bouis (Tennis Pro). There are four tennis courts at 16220 Park Center near the community pool & pavilion.

Trash Services

The trash service for the community is provided by either the City of Pasadena or the City of Houston.

If your trash is picked up by the City of Houston - 713-827-9299 Republic Waste handles the contract - 281-446-2030 Pick up is on Tuesdays No recycling service at this time

If your trash is picked up by the City of Pasadena - Public Works 713-475-7884 Waste Management handles the contract - 281-487-5000 Pick up is on Tuesdays and Fridays Recycling is on Wednesdays Heavy trash pickup is on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays
